Als Seasonal Bellboy, sind Sie für die folgenden Aufgaben verantwortlich:

• Fähigkeit zur körperlichen Anstrengung beim Anbringen, Abnehmen und Tragen von Gästegepäck

• Herzliches "Willkommen" und herzliches "Auf Wiedersehen" für unsere Gäste gewährleisten

• Zustellung des Gepäcks beim Einchecken und Entfernung des Gepäcks beim Auschecken aus den Gästezimmern 

• Ausgezeichnete Produktkenntnisse

• Überprüfung der Ankunfts- und Abreiseberichte, um die Bedürfnisse der Gäste zu erkennen

• Sicherstellung, dass der Haupteingang jederzeit besetzt ist

• Sicheres Parken der Gästefahrzeuge

• Organisation von Taxis für unsere Gäste auf Anfrage

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern, within the Front Office department, the Bellboy is responsible for warmly welcoming guests, assisting with luggage handling, escorting guests to their rooms, and providing information about the hotel’s facilities and services.

As Seasonal Bellboy, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Ability to exert physical effort in placing, removing and transporting guest luggage

• Offering our guests a warm “Welcome” and a warm “Farewell”

• Delivering upon check in and removing luggage upon check out from guest rooms

• Excellent product knowledge

• Checking arrival and departure reports to anticipate guests needs

• Ensuring that the main entrance is always attended

• Safe parking of guest cars in our parking bays

• Providing our guests taxis on request

As Seasonal Bellboy, we expect from you:

• Car driving license

• A sense of responsibility and good time management  

• Teamwork, organizational skills and good time management

• Communication skills - guests will come to you with both complaints and positive feedback, so you always will be approachable

• Flexibility and resilience - your position will include weekend and holiday shifts

• Excellent manners, well-groomed appearance, as well as a positive charisma

• Very good knowledge of German and English. Other foreign languages are an advantage
