About the job

Based Mandarin Oriental Jakarta, the Senior Sales Manager Corporate is responsible for servicing and management of corporate accounts within an assigned area. The Senior Sales Manager Corporate reports to the Director of Sales.

As Senior Sales Manager Corporate, you will be responsible for the following duties:

1. Business Development & Market Growth

  • Explore new sources of business by developing new contacts.
  • Seek and contact new potential corporate accounts through direct enquiries, sales leads, sales blitzes, and trade shows.
  • Monitor corporate business booking trends to maximize both average rate and occupancy.
  • Monitor competitors’ performance in the corporate market segments.
  • Promote seasonal packages and special promotions to major supporters.

2. Client Relations & Corporate Engagement

  • Conduct site inspections for existing or prospective corporate influencers, decision-makers, and end users.
  • Participate in familiarisation group entertainment as required.
  • Entertain executives and secretaries of potential corporate companies and in-house guests to ensure future business.
  • Together with the Director of Sales, coordinate corporate functions (e.g., annual parties, seasonal gifts, General Manager’s luncheon).

3. Sales Operations & Team Supervision

  • Supervise sales managers and sales executives in special negotiations and contract agreements.
  • Monitor own corporate account monthly production and attend review meetings.
  • Update Fidelio/Delphi Sales and Catering account and contact profiles after every call to maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare weekly sales call reports.

4. Meetings, Travel & General Duties

  • Participate in overseas sales trips and complete all sales reports within one week of return.
  • Attend daily sales briefings, weekly sales meetings, and bi-weekly business development meetings.
  • Participate in any projects as and when assigned by the department head.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the department head.

As Senior Sales Manager Corporate, we expect from you:

Educational level:

  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or Business Administration 

Work experience:

  • Minimum 3 years working experience in the hotel industry

Job Knowledge:

  • Fluent in English
  • Able to liase effectively with corporate markets
