RECEPTION MANAGER, FRONT OFFICE

39 hours, 5 days per week

We’re looking for a Reception Manager to join our iconic Front Office team.

As a Reception Manager at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the front desk, ensuring smooth operations and supervising the Chef de Brigades and Receptionists on shift.
  • Working closely with House Managers, stepping in and supporting complaint resolutions as and when needed.
  • Assisting the Front Office Manager with development of the department, reviewing systems and processes to improve efficiency.
  • Being a champion of quality for the Front Office team.

As a Reception Manager, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.

To be a successful Reception Manager candidate, you will have previously worked in a Front Office capacity at a supervisory/leadership level, ideally within a luxury hospitality setting. You will demonstrate strong leadership abilities, be technically competent in operating systems and be cool, calm and collected when under pressure.
