You’ll learn, develop technical skills and help maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Chef de Partie during service: cook, finish and plate dishes to MOHG standards.
  • Support banquet and event production: help with setup, service and breakdown as required.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely; keep workstations clean and service-ready.
  • Receive, check and rotate deliveries; assist with basic stock control and inventory tasks.
  • Follow HACCP, allergen and food safety procedures at all times; report quality or safety issues promptly.
  • Support continuous learning: adopt feedback, assist training sessions and cover basic tasks when needed.

What We Expect From You

  • Culinary qualification or relevant vocational experience preferred.
  • Some professional kitchen experience (ideally 6–12 months); hotel or banqueting exposure is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene, allergens and safe food handling (HACCP).
  • Strong teamwork, attention to detail and a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and events as required.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English preferred; additional languages a plus.

Our Commitment To You

  • Learning & Development: Structured training and growth opportunities.
  • MOstay: Complimentary nights and attractive rates at Mandarin Oriental properties worldwide.
  • Health & Wellness: Benefits and wellbeing programmes to support work–life balance.
  • Retirement Plans, Staff Welfare Fund (Fondo Social), Flexible Compensation (including access to DKV), internal events and team-building activities.
