Responsibilities: 

  • Cleans, tidies and maintain the work area and ensures that no dangerous equipment, tools are left strewn onto the work benches and work area. 
  • Receives work order from the B&D Supervisor and perform general repairs and maintenance of all Hotel furniture and fixtures. 
  • Perform general refurbishing work of Hotel’s assets/properties eg. Tables, chair, etc. 
  • Notifies the B&D Supervisor of any defects in materials. 
  • Attends morning briefing to receive instructions/work order. 
  • Informs/advises B&D Supervisor on stock levels and requests for such requests for such replenishments to ensure that there is a ready supply of carpentry tools and materials. 
  • Paint signs and sign boards according to specifications. 
  • Paints all surfaces to Hotel assets/fixtures/walls as and when requested. 
  • Attend to guestroom, public area telephone work order so given by the Duty Engineer.
